Production Manager / Engineer Full Time

Position: Production Manager / Engineer

Location: Flint, MI USA

Salary: $95,000 – $100,000 USD Yearly

Industry: Manufacturing / Production / Weld / Fabrication

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the overall production process
• Providing training and support to employees as needed
• Reviewing production orders and schedules
• Ensure production is according to customer specifications
• Review work orders and ensure the required stock and supplies are available
• Inspect all machinery and equipments and ensure any necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure optimum utilization of all resources and minimal downtime
• Perform other tasks as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-4 years related experience in a Managerial role
• Hands on experience repairing and troubleshooting equipments
• Must have knowledge of Welding procedures
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specification sheets
• Must be mechanically inclined and capable of applying mathematical concepts
• Proficient in MS applications, related software and ERP
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
