Millwright (Night Shift) Full Time

Position: Millwright – NIGHT Shift

Location: Newmarket, ON

Pay Rate: $34.00 – $37.00 Hourly

Industry: Manufacturing

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Schedule: Night Shift

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform all maintenance work as needed.
• Solve all maintenance related issues with minimum disturbance to production process.
• Maintain up to date documentation of all equipments.
• Make recommendations to improve equipment efficiency and cost reduction.
• Prepare necessary documents and reports on issues encountered during the shift.
• Ensure workplace has clear and safe working conditions.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Post Secondary education in maintenance related field.
• Minimum five years of experience as a maintenance mechanic and/or possess millwright license.
• Press experience is an asset.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems and tools.
• Experience with machine shop equipment and mechanical systems.
• Experience in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes and experience with industrial machine repair.
• Good knowledge of basic electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work any of the three shifts when required.
