Job: Quality Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in  Southfield, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quality activities, improve efficiency in the various plating processes, coordinate PPAP sample submissions, interact with customers to offer continuous improvement ideas and follow up on quality performance among other duties. This is a full-time/permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years related quality experience within the manufacturing industry
• Experience with metal plating / coating  process
• Certification or strong understanding related to Lean/Six Sigma Principles
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Able to travel as required

Compensation: $$70,000 – $75,000 USD per Year
