Job: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Our client, a leading food manufacturer  is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team in Woodbridge, ON.   Reporting ot the QA Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the oversight of the QA activities of the company, oversee, support of the quality assurance and food safety management systems, support and direction to ensure industry standard food safety systems are implemented and effective, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time/permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary education in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or Food Science or equivalent or degre
• 3+ years related QA Supervisory experience, preferably in the food industry
• Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, BRC and other Food Regulatory requirements in Canada and the USA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Salary:  $50,000 – $60,000 per year
