Job: QA Manager

Our client, a leader in the brewery industry, is currently seeking a QA Manager to join their team in the Hawkesbury, ON area. The ideal candidate will be responsible to manage goal-oriented QA team performance by developing, rewarding, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees, establish and enforce quality standards and testing protocols, establish quality and reliability standards by understanding consumer requirements, develop and enforce raw material standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements, develop a QA team by collaborating with HR to recruit, select, onboard, and train employees, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education
• 5-10 years’ experience as QA manager in the beer / beverage industry
• Previous experience in the brewery industry
• Working knowledge of quality management systems and their requirements
• Knowledge of provincial and federal safety requirements and legal standards
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
