Job: Production Workers / Assemblers

Position: Production Worker / Assembler

Location: Brantford, ON

Pay Rate: $18.45 – $22.44 per hour

Industry: Automotive Manufacturing

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is currently seeking  Production Workers / Assemblers to join their team in Brantford, ON.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts, off load and transfer parts
• Operate high tech machinery and assist machine operators
• Perform & Document in Process Quality inspections/quality checks
• Ensure daily production requirements are met
• Maintain 5S
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Stamping/Press & Die Experience an asset
• Visual inspection experience is an asset
• Knowledge and experience with 5S & Kaizen systems preferred but not mandatory
• Must be able to work 2-week, 3 shift rotation (days, afternoons and midnights)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
• Must be able to take direction comfortably, able to multi-task, managing time efficiently to obtain optimum results
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and standing for extended periods required
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Pay Scale

• $18.45 per hour to start
• $18.82 after 6 months
• After certain milestones and test requirements are met $22.44 per hour
