Position: Production Supervisor
Location: Brantford, ON area
Pay Rate: $31.80 per hour
Status: Permanent Full-Time
Shift: 3 – Shift Rotation
Industry: Manufacturing/ Automotive
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the Production staff
- 90% on the floor working directly with operators
- Required to assist on production line, when needed
- Ensure compliance of production schedules and analyze staffing requirements
- Assist in hiring production employees and integrates new hires
- Comply to regulatory and employment concerns
- Resolving customer issues and concerns
- Ensures the safety of the workforce
- Other duties, as required
Qualifications:
- Post secondary Education and proven experience as a Production Supervisor in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Must be mechanically inclined and adept at troubleshooting minor equipment issues
- Understanding and experience with ISO based quality systems
- Strong multi-tasking and communication skills
- Strong team building and team leadership with experience in a supervisory position
- Licensed for forklift operation and overhead crane considered an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
