Position: Production Planner
Location: Woodbridge, ON area
Salary: $70,000 per year
Status: Permanent Full-Time

Responsibilities:
- Schedule and distribute production schedules or work orders to Assembly and Manufacturing Department
- Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing to determine personnel or materials requirements or materials priorities are distributed in a timely manner
- Revise schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, production, or engineering
- Analyze production data, including volume produced vs labor hours utilized to ensure the goal is to be as efficient as possible
- When situations arise that threaten the set schedule, notify your department manager immediately
- Responsible for ensuring the ERP system in place is utilized to schedule the release of production jobs and track their progress through internal and external work centers.
- Oversee output of Planning Department upon absence/unavailability of Production and Process Manager
- Responsible for handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Wear proper safety equipment and follow safe working practices
- Perform other duties as assigned and assist when required
Qualifications:
- Planning and/or Project Coordination experience in a Manufacturing Environment strongly preferred
- Demonstrated project management skills; well organized, attentive to details
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work
- Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability
- Strong communication skills
