Job: Materials Supervisor

Our client, a leading manufacturer of consumer goods products, is currently seeking a Materials Supervisor to join their team in Scarborough, ON. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will be responsible for production schedules for manufacturing in order to meet shipping dates and customer needs, direct team to manage and control all inventory and materials management activities, forecast and ordering all raw materials to support the production plan, Supervise inventory control, monitor production vs. plan, finished goods and work in process inventories, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time/permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Post – Secondary Education in  Materials Management, Supply Chain or similar field
• 3 years progressive production planning, materials requirements planning, inventory control, and purchasing experience
• SAP experience using SAP Supply Chain Management applications
• Ability to utilize and train employees on technology, processes and procedures
• Good understanding of MRP and ERP
• Experience using technology systems for Warehouse Management (WMS), Supply Chain Management (SCM), purchasing, scheduling and inventory control
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation: $55,000 – $63,000 per year
