Job: Maintenance Supervisor / Manager

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and industrial service industry, is currently seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor / Manager to join their team in Whitby, ON.  The ideal candidate will be responsible to supervise skilled trade employees for all facilities and equipment maintenance activities, overall general building and part maintenance, lead planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance, prepare monthly reports and budget, among other duties as assigned.  This is a full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary Education or Technical training
• 3+ years related maintenance supervisor/manager experience
• Proven ability to lead maintenance personnel
• Experience with the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems/equipment, furnaces, boilers
• Building trades certificate or equivalent a definite asset
• Working knowledge of Microsoft computer software (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.) and email
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay Rate: $35 per hour
