Job: Human Resources Manager

Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is currently seeking a HR Manager to join their team in Cambridge, ON. Reporting to the President, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Human Resources department operations and processes, ensure HR strategy and services are aligned with the company’s objectives, ensures compliance with various legislation including, ESA, Human Rights Code, Labour Code, Occupational Health & Safety Act, WSIB, compensation management, lead company recruitment initiatives, lead training and development company programs among other tasks as required. This is a full-time/permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary education in Human Resources Management
• 5+ Years related HR Manager experience
• CHRP designation an asset
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or a construction environment an asset
• Proven record of building relationships, gaining deep industry knowledge and providing pro-active and responsive solutions to business needs
• Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office (primarily Word and Excel)
• Excellent communicator

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
