Job: Health & Safety Supervisor

Our client, a leading construction and utilities company, is currently seeking a Health and Safety Supervisor to join their team in Toronto, ON.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for Ensuring the safety of all workers, forepersons, supervisors, management and the public on various job sites, report to the job site, in the event of an incident to conduct an investigation, Conduct documented facility and building inspections for all  facilities and sites, conduct subcontractor and new worker orientation sessions, facilitate in-house training under the direction of the EHS Department, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time/permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Degree in a related field, preferably in Occupational Health and Safety
• 3-5 years related experience, preferably in construction or a utility environment
• Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety rules and regulations for construction
• Experience working in ISO and COR certified environments is considered an asset
• Able to travel to different work sites around the GTA and Ontario
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

Salary: $55,000 – $75,000 per year + Bonus + Benefits
