Job: Director of Engineering – Automation and Controls

Our client, a leading manufacturer of automated solutions, is currently seeking a Director of Engineering – Automation and Controls to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI The ideal candidate will be working on-site & will be responsible to manage engineers designing and developing hardware and software related control systems, Program and troubleshoot PLC controls and HMIs for proper function, Review and develop electrical drawings following standard drawing and electrical practices, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Engineering  degree or related field
• 10+ years related Controls Engineering & PLC programming experience
• 5+ years management experience
• Significant hands-on experience with programmable controllers / HMI / robotics
• Ability to travel to work sites

Compensation: $130,000 per year + Bonus
