Job: CAD / CAM Programmer

Our client, a leading equipment manufacturer in Uxbridge, ON is currently seeking a CAD/CAM Programmer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing programs and setup sheets for various types of machines and controls, develop and maintain programs using CAD/CAM, communicate with supervisors, engineers and shop personnel to resolve machining and quality issues, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time/permanent position. 

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in a related field
• 2-3+ years CAD/CAM programming experience
• Experience with HSM Works and Solid works in a manufacturing setting considered an asset.
• Able to read and interpret drawings
• Working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Salary: $24 – $33 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
