Job: Buyer

Our client, a leader in the automation industry, is currently seeking a Buyer to join their team in Concord, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible to purchase raw materials, components and all other necessary supplies, obtain and administer quotations as required, maintain, update, control records and documents, maintain policy and procedures manual for purchasing, ensure orders meet quality and time specifications, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education
• 3-5 years related purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Working experience in Low Cost country procurement
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience in automation manufacturing
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 per year
