Job: Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright

Our client, a leader in the food industry, is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright to join their team in the Palmerston, ON area.   The ideal candidate will be responsible for operation, maintenance and upkeep of the company’s production equipment in a manner that minimizes interruptions in the production facility, ensures employee safety, and maintains food safety at all times, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time/permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Industrial Millwright
• 5+ years maintenance millwright experience, preferably within the food sector
• Electrical knowledge a definite asset
• Proficient in computer software (ie. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay Rate:  $28 – $32 per hour
