Our client, a leader in the food industry, is currently seeking to fill a Inventory & Purchasing Manager  for their team in the Leamington, ON area. The Ideal candidate will be is responsible for managing the inventory and purchasing team, negotiate contracts, evaluate and approve specifications with suppliers, prepare and present reports regarding market conditions and organizational spend, ensures storage  and inventory control are performed in an efficient manner, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time/permanent role.

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business or related field
  • PMAC Certificate and/or S.C.M.P. Designation
  • 5 Years related inventory /purchasing experience, within the food packaging industry
  • Experience in leading and managing a team
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

 

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
